Unboxing the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401 Gaming Laptop

On today's episode of unboxing things we're going to be unboxing the brand new Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401 Gaming Laptop however you want to say it i've seen the reddit threads ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401 i'm very excited to dig on into this one as well it's a fancy new gaming laptop and as i always do on this show the first thing that i look at is the packaging so the packaging for this gaming laptop it has a very nice feel to it very nice smooth it's not cheap cardboard and the appearance is very good but it's very minimal, you don't know that this is a computer just by looking at it you have to know it's a computer by buying it it just says ROG Zephyrus whatever that is i'm sure some of you know what that is then on the side it just has the  ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401 some barcodes but overall you really don't know that this is a gaming computer unless you know that this is a gaming computer.

So because of that fact i'm going to give this a 3 out of 5 for the packaging solely based on the fact that you have no clue what the heck this thing is unless you know what the heck this thing is so with that being said let's dig on in to the  ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401  now that is fancy okay that's really about it this has the fanciest cardboard pedestal that i've ever seen opening a computer it just had the computer very nicely presented saying open me i'm a computer.

The only other things in the box are a the power cable to go into the power adapter and then this curious little light thing see what's in here ah warranty paperwork telling me congrats on my g series gaming notebook pc that's about it some paperwork a power brick the computer itself let's take the plastic off of this bad boy pretty oh what was that all right some felt to protect the screen here's what it looks like okay

So let's continue on with the ratings that we do here at unboxing things the ease of opening it was awesome it was a five out of five very easy to open one small tab i had to cut and then this hinged cardboard lid thing that i've never seen before along with the pedestal looking thing that was great so that is definitely a five out of five for the ease of opening the quality of the material i was thinking that it was gonna be a perfect score but i'm down to a four out of five because the outside was great but then this stuff is just very very cheap flimsy this tore a little bit when i open it up here is very cheap cardboard so they could have almost had a five but i'm gonna rate this a four out of five for the quality of the material.

And then finally getting started well it's a computer there's not instructions with computers anymore it says press the power button all right i can do that i can press the power button the rest of the getting started is computer stuff so i'm going to give this a 5 out of 5 for the getting started that says press the power button okay so what is the final rating let's see final unboxing rating for the  ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401 the packaging a three out of five ease of opening a solid five out of five quality of the material almost perfect but a four out of five and then getting started pressing the power button for a 5 out of 5 which gives us a total of 17 out of 20 for the  ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401 thanks for watching don't forget to like and subscribe and also comment below if you agreed with my packaging ratings and let me know how you would rate it as well we'll see you next time.
